Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Introduction

Radiolive is an iOS application owned, developed, and distributed by Rue S.r.l. (“Rue”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you use Radiolive (the “App”). It replaces earlier privacy notices published for Radiolive under prior arrangements (different publisher). A snapshot of the previous policy (hosted on iubenda) remains available for reference only at iubenda.com/privacy-policy/37072389; the current data controller is exclusively Rue S.r.l.

Websites are covered separately: cookies and similar technologies on this website (radioliveapp.com) are described in our Cookie Policy, and our corporate website at www.rue.xyz/privacy-and-cookie-policy.

2. Data controller

The sole data controller for Radiolive and for personal data processed through the App is:

Rue S.r.l.

Via Enrico Mattei 106

40138 Bologna, Italy

Email: [email protected]

3. Types of data

Depending on your device, App version, and settings, the App and its partners may process categories including:

Some data is collected automatically when you use the App; other processing depends on your consent or device settings (for example Apple’s “Allow Apps to Request to Track”). When you play a radio stream, your device may connect to third-party broadcasters or their providers; those parties process connection data under their own policies.

4. Purposes of processing

We process personal data for purposes that typically include: providing and maintaining the App; managing in-app purchases, subscriptions and refund requests; analytics and product improvement; advertising and measurement (where used); infrastructure monitoring, stability, and security (including crash reporting); and complying with law and responding to lawful requests.

5. Third-party services

The following types of services have been used in Radiolive (or equivalent successors). Which services are active can vary by App version and configuration. Each provider processes data under its own policy; we summarise the role and provide links so you can read the full terms.

5.1 Advertising

5.2 Analytics

5.3 Infrastructure monitoring

5.4 Subscriptions and purchases

5.5 Analytics, stability and messaging

5.6 Refund requests and data shared with Apple

If you ask Apple for a refund of an in-app purchase, Apple may request information from us about how that purchase was used before deciding on your request. We respond through Adapty, which provides Apple with consumption data associated with your purchase — for example whether the purchased content was delivered, how much you used the App, how long the account has existed, and our recommendation on the request.

The purpose is to allow Apple to assess refund requests fairly. We share only the data Apple requests for that purpose, and only when a refund request has been submitted. No data is shared with Apple for this purpose if you never request a refund.

This sharing is enabled by default. You can disable it at any time in the App under Settings → “Share usage data with Apple”. Disabling it does not prevent you from requesting a refund and does not affect Apple’s decision process; it only means we will not supply the supporting data.

6. Opting out of interest-based advertising

In addition to controls inside the App or each provider’s tools, you can use industry resources such as Your Online Choices (EU), the Network Advertising Initiative (US), the Digital Advertising Alliance (US), DAAC (Canada), or DDAI (Japan), where applicable.

On mobile, the DAA’s AppChoices app can help manage interest-based ads across participating apps. You can also limit tracking or reset advertising identifiers in your device settings (for example Apple’s Privacy & Security settings).

7. Legal bases (EEA / UK)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate bases such as:

Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

8. How and where we process data

Processing uses electronic tools and service providers (processors) bound by appropriate agreements. Data may be processed in the EU, the UK, the US, Israel, or other countries where providers operate. When we transfer personal data outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland, we use safeguards recognised under applicable law (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, or security requirements, unless a longer period is permitted by law. When retention ends, we delete or anonymise data where feasible.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We respond within the time limits required by law (typically within one month for GDPR requests, subject to extensions for complex cases).

10. Children

The App is not directed at children below the age where parental consent is required in your region. If you believe we have collected data from a child without appropriate authority, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11. Other information

Legal claims. We may use personal data where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or when required by public authorities.

System logs. For operation and maintenance, the App or providers may collect technical logs (which can include items such as IP address in server logs) as needed for security and troubleshooting.

Changes. We may update this Policy by posting a new version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. Where the law requires, we will seek renewed consent or provide additional notice.
